Community Service Project

Kids Helping Kids

The Dutch Neck family will be playing our part in helping children who are faced with serious illnesses while their families reside at the Ronald McDonald House.  Our community service project will enable our students to understand how each of them can make a big difference in another child’s life.

Here is how you can help:  We will be collecting snack items that families can munch on, either to or from the hospital.  The items will be housed in the Ronald McDonald kitchen, so that the families have easy access to the snacks.  Each grade level has a specific item to contribute.

Pre-K and Kindergarten:  Granola Bars and/or Individual sized Pudding cups
1st Grade:  100 Calorie Snack Packs
2nd Grade:  Snack bag size of pretzels or chips
3rd Grade: Individual sized Fruit Cups

When: Collections will be from Monday, November 4th through Friday, December 6th.

How:  Please have your child bring their donation to school during the above dates.  There will also be a bin in the front hallway for donations.
