                   2020 Welcome Letter
August, 2020

Dear New First Grader,

Hello!!! My name is Mrs. Bugher and I am so excited that you are going to be in my class! I am looking forward to meeting you on our first day of school. First grade is a big year where we will work together to learn a lot about reading, writing, math, science and social studies.

In first grade you will eat lunch and snack everyday. Please pack a small nutritious snack (fruit, vegetables, pretzels, etc.) and a small reuseable water bottle with your name on it. Please pack snack separate from the lunch. If you want to bring lunch from home you will need to pack it in plastic containers, no glass please. The cafeteria will be open if you would like to purchase a lunch.
