Mrs. Wriede
Room 302 (Formally Mod 1)

Welcome Students & Parents!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Wriede and this will be my 14th year of teaching and my fourth year here at MHS teaching kindergarten. I live in Hightstown, NJ with my husband and our three children. We also have an energetic dog named Millie. I am looking forward to the start of school and working with your child.

Kindergarten is an exciting year, designed to promote and enhance your child's individual growth and development. The opportunity to teach your child is a privilege and responsibility I take seriously. I will do my best to motivate, comfort, and appreciate each child and all the gifts they bring to the classroom.

To aide in a smooth transition into school please explore the
helpful and fun information on our school website and this classroom page. In addition, please help your child get prepared for school by:

~ Casually discussing the new and exciting adventure your child is about to begin.

~ Share books about the first day of school with your child. I recommend "Miss Mingo and the First Day of School" by Jamie Harper or Rosemary Wells "Timothy Goes to School."

~ Keep good-byes short the first day and prepare yourself. Your child will follow your lead (anxiety, excitement, etc.).

See you soon!!!
