In Science, the children have continued to learn about changes in solids, liquids and gases. They have learned terms such as evaporation and condensation. We have been learning how to separate mixtures and have even been able to see what colors make black and green. It was neat and surprising to see what colors black and green are made up of. Ask your child what they thought of this cool activity! We also had a “dissolving race” to see if grains of sugar or cubes of sugar dissolved faster. Very exciting! We have done some other pretty neat experiments, too as we watched matter change from solids to liquids to gases and back again. Who knew the world around us changes so much each day! Your child will be bringing home their Changes folder within the next few weeks and they may keep it at home. Ask your child to explain to you the many experiments we did as a class. I’m sure they’ll have lots to talk about!
