I grew up in Venezuela a beautiful south american country. I have a BA in Education with a specialization in language arts and social studies obtained in Venezuela and a MA in Applied Spanish from the College of New Jersey.

I am very fortunate to be part of the West Windsor-Plainsboro school district since 1999 and helped to establish the Foreign Language in the Elementary School program in the district (FLES). I enjoy teaching the children my culture and language.

As a representative for our school district, I have personally accepted the 2011 ACTFL Melba Woodruff Award for the Exemplary Elementary Foreign Language Program from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages at their annual convention in Denver, Colorado.  This award is awarded to one school district nationwide.

Our elementary World Language program has been classified as a New Jersey "Model School" for the past five years.
