Dear Boys and Girls,

     Welcome to Second Grade at Maurice Hawk in room 130! My name is Mrs. Ramirez. I will be your second grade teacher this year. I am very excited to be teaching you this year and I am looking forward to meeting all of you!  Remember to come to school with a big smile on your face and ready to greet old and new friends. We are going to have some fun times together!

 The Second grade supply list is listed below:

• 1 book bag
• 3 marble composition book
• 7 durable plastic 2-pocket folders (solid colors only please -one of each color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black)
• 1 plastic snap lid pencil box (8 x 5)
• 24 sharpened #2 pencils
• 3 large OR 5 small glue sticks
• 1 pack of crayons (16 or 24 pack)
• 1 pack of washable markers (8, 10 or 12 pack)
• 2 dry erase markers (any color)
• 1 pair of child safety scissors
• 3 medium packs of post-it notes (3x3)
• 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags (BOYS ONLY)
• 1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags (GIRLS ONLY)
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 hand sanitizer
• 1 package of anti-bacterial wipes

•  One blue ballpoint pen and one green ballpoint pen for Writer’s Workshop.
•  Clip Board labeled with your name.
• Memory Bag- in a Ziploc bag please place three items that are very important to you. We will  share these items with the class so that we can get to know one another a little better.
